1.  Fill with cold water from the refrigerator

Open lid and fill to the bottom of built in cup to where the pouring hole is.  It holds 30 ounces of water.  Drain out any overfill by pressing the water release lever before you carbonate. Use only refrigerator cold water.  Never pour anything into the water chamber but water!  All other ingredients always go into your cup.  Close the lid.  If you cannot pour water into the machine because the water chamber is closed off, do not poke the water chamber open with anything!  Instead press the water release lever down (step 3) to release the pressure and it will automatically open. 

2.  Push three or more times to carbonate

Press the lever, located on the front top of your machine, down firmly until you cannot push down any farther, pause and let go of the lever.  Then press the lever again, pause and let go.  Then press the lever again listening for the peak of the crescendo.  Train your ear to properly carbonate.  Learn to release the button at the peak of the crescendo just as you hear a little CO2 escape through the pressure release port in the top of your machine where you poured your water in.  Continuing to hold the button down will waist CO2.  For heavier carbonation, after carbonating press the lever down and quickly release it 1 to 4 additional times to make a super carbonated drink.  For less carbonation in your drink, learn where on the crescendo to let go of the lever so it is perfect for you.

Gently press the water release lever a little bit to release the build up of pressure in the machine.  Be sure not to press the lever down to far or the water will come pouring out of the machine

3.  Put concentrate in glass, dispense ... enjoy!

Hold glass down at the foot of the machine at a slight angle so that the carbonated water will drop into the glass hitting its side.  Straighten the cup up as it fills.  This enables the water to enter the cup with a swirling motion and mix with the concentrate without having to stir the drink.
